PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
Welcome to my world of interdisciplinary design, where architecture, product innovation, and data-driven exploration come together to address the challenges of our time. I am Hana Khurshid, a design engineer and an Architect, with a passion for combining creativity and research to craft solutions that are sustainable, impactful, and human-centered.

Currently pursuing my Master's in Design Engineering at Harvard University, I draw on a diverse background in architecture and advanced fabrication. My projects delve into data visualization, new material development, and cutting-edge technologies, bridging disciplines to explore how design can transform ecological, industrial, and cultural systems. From 3D-printed plant root structures to water footprint visualizations, my work aims to make the invisible visible and inspire meaningful action.

My approach is rooted in a belief in symbiosis—a care-based relationship between humans and nature. This philosophy guides my exploration of innovative materials, computational design, and fabrication techniques to reimagine how we design for the future. As an international designer with experience across Ireland, Australia, Pakistan, Belgium, and the U.S., I bring a global perspective to every project, embracing complexity to create resilient and adaptive designs.
